The Homeoffice-Pauschale is a German tax deduction for employees who work from home. Since 2023, it amounts to €6 per home office day, for a maximum of 210 days per year – up to €1,260 annually. No dedicated home office room is required. Office Check automatically calculates this amount based on your logged home office days.
The commute deduction (Pendlerpauschale) is calculated based on your configured one-way commute distance and your actual office days. For every kilometer of one-way distance between home and the office, €0.38 can be claimed as a deductible expense. Office Check multiplies the daily deduction by your total office days to give you the annual total.
